About Us

PAMEPI was founded in 2006 with the objective of initiating programmes that seek to improve the living conditions of the poor, the less privileged, and vulnerable groups in society.

Paabinaa Meriga Peace Initiative (PAMEPI) is a not-for-profit, Non-Governmental Organisation (NGO) legally registered under the laws of Ghana with the Registrar General’s Department (G-21,969) and the Department of Social Welfare (No. D. S. W/3598) in 2007. The organization was founded in 2006 with the objective of initiating programmes that seek to improve the living conditions of the poor, the less privileged, and vulnerable groups in society.
PAMEPI’s operational areas include education, health, agriculture, technology, local governance, and livelihood empowerment. In the area of education, PAMEPI institutes programmes that seek to bring quality education and improvement in educational outcomes in the lives of deprived children, the youth, and other disadvantaged groups in rural communities through equal access to education. Our organization believes that the promotion of girls’ skills and interest in ICT can play a role in bridging the gender barriers which in no doubt will enable them to be self-reliant and above all, contribute to the economic growth of Ghana and beyond.
